Crustaceans are invertebrates with a hard outer skeleton and jointed legs. They can be found in a variety of environments, on land or in the sea. This group includes lobsters, crabs, prawns and barnacles, but there are many more.
Did you know? There are over 50,000 known crustacean species but there may be at least 200,000 more undiscovered. Wow, that’s a lot of work for future marine biologists!
